The Four Pillars of an Effective SEO Strategy

Good Search Engine Optimization Relies on Four Pillars

There are several factors that go into an effective search engine optimization strategy. While many business owners focus on one or two pillars, it is essential to implement all four key components. Using these four SEO pillars will help your website grow and thrive.

1. Technical Aspects

For the most part, the technical qualities of your site depend on the content management system you use. You need to make sure your webpages are able to load fast and that it is easy for someone to navigate the site. In today’s day and age, it is highly recommended to ensure your webpages are easily viewable from a mobile device.

2. Content

Next, you need to look at the actual content you are posting. Each piece of content should have the goal of telling customers what you provide and why they should do business with you. It is also good to have different types of content. For instance, you need credibility content to tell consumers why you are good at what you do as well as service content to show what exactly you do.

3. On-Site Optimization

In addition to merely having content, you want to ensure it is optimized fully. Fill the content with relevant keywords and ensure everything has a clear, descriptive title. It is also good to add meta descriptions and descriptive URLs.

4. Off-Site Optimization

Finally, you want to make sure other sites link to your webpages. Link building is an important part of any SEO strategy, but you want to be certain the content you have is worth linking to. You want consumers to view you and your business as authorities for the industry you are in.
